Welcome back to a new season of Not Another Mummy Podcast and I've got a brilliant episode to kick things off. Along with his husband Daniel, my guest, Tom Cox, adopted his son Kai. Tom chats to me about everything from that moment he knew he wanted to be a dad, what made them choose adoption over surrogacy and how he felt when he first saw their son Kai's adoption profile and knew he was the one. He talks about the long process and how emotionally tough it was, being approved by different panels and hoping and praying that everything would go smoothly.

It's clear, listening to Tom speak, how much him and Daniel love Kai and what brilliant dads they are. It was such a pleasure - and honour - to have Tom on as a guest, sharing his journey to fatherhood.

This episode is also rather special because it was recorded live, in front of an audience, at an event held by F&F at Tesco, to launch Fred & Flo, their brand new baby clothing range.
