This week we are joined by Jessica Turanec as she tells us the long and beautiful story of what led her to triathlon. This year she will take on her rookie season as a pro long course triathlete, but she hasn't always been an elite athlete.

In this episode we hear all about how Jessica had to distance herself from sports as a child due to severe scoliosis, only to rediscover her athletic identity years later as an adult when she rode against cancer to support her sister. Since then, her love for endurance sports has only grown, and last year she qualified for her pro card in a 70.3. Jessica is also the owner of her own business, and has so much wisdom about life to impart on us all.
