INTERVIEW: On today’s episode, I chat with Raquel Rottmann, a Lima-based spanish-speaking sexologist and mastermind behind the page, Corazon con Leche. Raquel is a TEDx speaker and author with a background in psychology and biology. She uses her impressionable platform to speak to South America about the taboos of sex and sexuality in hope to normalize the ever-evolving intricacies about our bodies, minds, and desires. Raquel's work is broken down into relatable and candid conversation with her community that impacts and transcends cultural borders and dated ideologies. On this episode, Raquel delves into the cultural landscape of Peru and majority of Latin America when it comes to stigmas, machismo, religion, privilege, and so much more. We chat about her work, her passion to bring vital sexual health information to South America, and her agenda to normalize what we’ve been so quick to culturally shame.
