Have you ever taken some time to reflect on the ways that you're toxic to yourself? Are you cautious of how you speak to yourself and to others? Do you find that you critique more than you celebrate? Let's have an honest discussion about some of our lowest moments and how we learned to treat ourselves better.

Our favorite moment of the season is finally here. We go high, we go low, we go deep with eachother. Reciting poetry in front of others can be so intimidating! Placing yourself in positions to be intimate and vulnerable in front of your loved ones, even scarier! On today’s episode we share our pieces, and ask one another questions on the process of writing. 

A huge part of becoming an adult is learning how to properly navigate tough conversations. They will always be a part of life so let's discuss ways to make them a little easier. Join us as we share stories about revealing heavy secrets, quitting jobs, firing managers and speaking up to disrespectful strangers. Let's dive in and get this over with... shall we?!

When’s the last time you sat yourself down and forced yourself to acknowledge the baggage—then get rid of it? Tired of all the extra weight in your life? No longer satisfied with the old ways and bad habits you inflict upon yourself? Let them go. In order to release the unwanted, you have to identify what they are. It can be unheard poetry, a quick message from someone special, hints about new exciting projects and more! We will record them in our rawest form. No edits. Off the dome. Fresh feelings. it’s time for some poetry, isn’t it!? we both wrote a spoken word piece (to the same beat that we played on the previous episode, titled “Pet Peeves and Random Things”). for this challenge, we explored the topic of “romantic reflections”. neither one of us knew what the other was going to share until we started the episode. enjoy! two poems. two different perspectives. one beat.
