I used to not really believe one of my now favorite quotes:

"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much"-Helen Keller

Mostly because up until my early twenties, I felt like I had to rely on myself to make things happen.

However, once I got into the corporate world, I realized there was a difference between being a manager and being a leader, and the importance of a team working towards the same goal, became glaringly obvious to me.

A leader is someone who can successfully enroll others into the big vision everyone is working toward. With that realization, this quote took on an entirely new meaning, and today it's one of the guiding principles I live my life and run my business by.
