Any other middle aged women out there suffering from unexplained pain in their shoulder? Dr. Sameer Nagda has some answers for you. It very well could be frozen shoulder- a condition that can be debilitating, and is misunderstood- and really has no origin or rhyme or reason as to why it happened in the first place. Working off of Jess B's struggle with this condition, and her consultation with Dr. Nagda a few months ago, he says it all racks up to bad luck. However, there are some contributing factors, like (ahem) being a woman in her 40's, with thyroid imbalance, or someone who might be facing pre-diabetic status.
This episode is a wealth of information about his curious and incredibly painful condition. If you are aching in your shoulder, this very well could be your answer.
