Frida Khalo was involved in a severe bus accident at the age of 18 that left her bedridden for three months in a full body cast. Her parents encouraged her to start painting while lying down from her bed. 

Frida fell in love with painting because it helped distract her from chronic pain. This is an inspiration to me because of my own chronic pain journey with migraines.
