It's been two months since a single case of the Delta variant set off a catastrophic chain of transmission which is now seeing NSW record over 600 cases, and often several fatalities from COVID-19 every day.

During that time, the rhetoric from our leaders has changed dramatically from hope of returning to zero transmission in the community, to an increasing reliance on mass vaccination, but what happens if that doesn't solve the problem?
