You may have been hearing the term 'Critical Race Theory' or CRT a lot over the past week, and like many other people be wondering what it is and why it matters if our children know about it.

Ironically, those opposed to it claim it is racist, even though it is an academic study of how systemic racism disproportionately affects different groups in society.

The Quicky speaks to an expert in race relations and Australian society to find out what exactly CRT is all about, and whether we should really be concerned if its basic principles are conveyed to children.
