Welcome to the season finale of human becoming, season two. What a journey we've been on. Through exploring desire and shame, boundaries, pleasure, the erotic, and our darkness, I have become more aware of who I am as a sexual being - and I hope you have too. This final episode is the last transmission that human becoming wants to offer before moving on to season three - which will be all about love! This episode explores what happens in our bodies when we say yes and mean no. I tell the story of my own fawning/moving towards survival strategy and how that has impacted me. I speak about boundary crossings and how we hold the nuance of experiences that are traumatic (and sometimes, in a strange co-occurring way, arousing). This is a very nuanced and complex episode, I am asking you to hold A LOT, but I think it is a worthy listen for anyone who is navigating our current culture of dating, connection, sex, and intimacy.
