For years, I would get hurt, triggered and worked up easily.

Counting to 10, using I-statements, deep breaths….nothing worked.

It took a couple years, but I finally figured out why.

It was because I was not engaging my frontal lobe. When my frontal lobe is not online, I can’t stop the triggering thoughts and feelings.
