You googled what to do. First option - therapy.
Like most, even me, we immediately panic and want to know what we SHOULD do after we find out we've been betrayed. 99% of the time, Google will tell you to seek out therapy - either for yourself or for your marriage.
But is that really the best option when you are dealing with infidelity?
I have many who come to me saying they have been in therapy for themselves or in marriage counseling and it is going nowhere FAST.
As a matter of fact, many report they get worse. Why is that?
Well, in today's episode, I give you 2 main reasons as to why therapy is not always the best option after betrayal.
DISCLAIMER: I am a huge advocate for therapy! Please understand, I am NOT dismissing therapy as a means for mental health. I have been in counseling myself and have found it quite beneficial for certain things. Therapy, just like coaching, has it's place and I believe they can both be extremely beneficial to those in need.
