Dr. Linda Doyle is the first female provost of Trinity College Dublin.

We spoke about women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and the difficulties that women face rising up through the ranks of academia. We discussed the relevance of diversity in universities and why it is so important that people from all walks of life can access third and fourth level education.

I asked Linda her thoughts on how artificial intelligence (AI), such as chat GPT, is impacting learning and teaching and how it will impact the future of university education. We also discussed how collaboration between the arts and sciences will help to solve the housing crisis and global climate crisis.
