本期节目，仁慈和八如邀请了正在纽约念法学院的钟老师，共同解构最近一跃成为美国政客和媒体热词的DEIA政策（多元，平等，包容，无障碍）。为什么一提到DEIA就有人破防？残障者、跨性别者、移民到底在这场身份政治中扮演了什么角色？精英是怎么把DEIA政策搞成门面工程，而保守派又是如何靠“狗哨政治”忽悠选民？让我们从残障者的真实处境出发，重新打开对多元政策的理解。
In this episode, hosts Mercy and Baru are joined by Zhong, a current law student in New York, to unpack the DEIA policy—Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility—which has recently become a buzzword among U.S. politicians and media. Why does DEIA trigger such strong reactions? What roles do disabled people, transgender individuals, and immigrants play in this game of identity politics? How have elites turned DEIA into a performative showpiece, and how are conservatives using “dog-whistle politics” to manipulate public opinion?
