Weather is getting warmer, patio season is slowly opening and with that comes the topic of alcohol...a glass of rosé anyone? Today I'm sharing more on my relationship with alcohol and why I personally have decided to pause it.
It happened naturally to be honest. I started my detoxing and healing protocols not putting much thought into whether I would keep drinking or not. I never was a big drinker to begin with - simply because I noticed a while back how it was impacting me.
In this episode, I'm carefully sharing the motives behind my own decision to pause alcohol for now. I'm saying carefully because interestingly, it's a topic that some can get very defensive about. As if deciding not to drink meant deciding not to enjoy life...I'll share more about this in today's show.
I'm approaching this topic today because I think we simply don't discuss it enough. I'm not holding judgement but rather sharing what works for me in the season I'm in!
I'll share more on:
- The symptoms I noticed were correlated with my alcohol intake and how that became a decision factor;
- What is alcohol and its known impact on health;
- How alcohol fits (or not) into my big WHY;
- How to navigate the social pressure that comes with deciding to pause alcohol;
- An invitation to reflect on your relationship with alcohol.
