Tasha Elena Stevens-Vallecillo is a mixed race Nicaraguan and English woman whose parents met during the Sandinista revolution. During her early twenties she learnt her skills of foraging, farming and wild tending whilst living at the Tinkers Bubble eco-community in Somerset. In her twenties she helped to set up the regionalisation of the Land Workers Alliance and started her own micro-farm, farm shop and cooperative festival cafe, The Peasants Lunchbox.

Tasha now leads the food production at 42 Acres - a retreat centre and regenerative farm - and supports vision holding across the 173 acre site, stewarding their intention to live in harmony with nature, Self and others. The land and food production at 42 Acres is in its early years. Across the site different mixed farming methods are used, from producing outdoor shiitake and native medicinal wild mushroom strains to growing biodynamic vegetables, nut trees, seabuckthorn, medicinal perennials and soon regenerative beekeeping.

Tasha is a practising Buddhist and intuit and collaborates with various healers into 42 Acres to support the team in connecting to the deeper meaning of the work and the held mission, weaving community building, skill shares, moneyless economic exchanges and spiritual holding to create a web of interconnectivity that can stand up to the challenges and uncertainties of our time.
