You are Always Worth It
Ladies, you are worth it. I want to talk about a few different scenarios where you might question your worth and show you exactly why you’re worth it.
It can be so difficult to honor your worth when it comes to your nutrition and exercise. But each time you eat when you’re hungry, stop eating when you’re full and move your body, you are honoring your worth.
You also honor yourself when you work on your thoughts and feelings. Actually figuring out what your feelings mean and how they relate to what you’re thinking is such a powerful way to honor yourself. I want to reiterate that you are worth losing the guilt you carry around all the time.
Setting Realistic Goals Matters
There is a strong relationship between honoring yourself and setting realistic goals. It’s so important that your goals are realistic - because if they’re not, you won’t be consistent with them. And, in all likelihood, you won’t reach your goal.
That’s why it’s so great when you divorce the result of the journey. When you start to see the value in honoring who you are at each stage of your journey, the end result doesn’t become as important. This is a true way of honoring yourself and knowing your worth - because you are absolutely worthy at every stage of life, at every step of your journey.
I talk about why protecting your healthy sleep is a huge part of honoring yourself, especially as a physician. Finally, I want to really stress how much you honor yourself when you invest in yourself. It doesn’t matter what this investment looks like - time, financial, self-care, or something else - when you set out to improve your life in any way, you honor who you are.
I want you to tell yourself every single day that you are worth it. What steps can you take starting today to honor yourself? I’d really love to know what area you’re going to start with! Let me know in the comments on the episode page.
