There’s light and shade in art, in relationships, in mental health and in life. This is an atypical TYP episode, in that it’s not a conversation with an ‘expert’, not a teaching or coaching session, not an interview with a high profile person and not a philosophical dive into the meaning of life. It’s a chat with a talented young man I’ve been mentoring for a little while. Harrison is a world-class rock climber, a brilliant artist and a deep-thinker, who has been navigating the peaks and troughs of being human. It’s an interesting chat (IMO) but gets fascinating in the second half when he talks about his art; the creative process, how he names his pieces, where his inspiration comes from and the broad range of unconventional mediums he uses to do what he does. Enjoy.
