13: How the nervous system impacts disordered eating, body image, and your thoughts

Your thoughts don’t need to be “fixed” with more mindset work and affirmations! Thoughts are a surface level indicator of the state your nervous system and can give you clues as to what you can do to bring yourself back to a regulated state. Understanding this concept will change the game of healing your relationship with food and your body. In this episode I explore how our behavior around food changes when we are in each of the 3 different nervous system states. Also, how you perceive your body changes depending on your nervous system!
