The Pause.
This is something that you can start doing immediately after listening to this podcast. It's simple, yet it's not easy - and it's worth it.
The power of the pause is an amazing tool to have in your pocket to keep you in alignment with your values and gives you the ability to respond in situations rather than react.
It is exactly as it says on the tin - pause.
It can be the difference between responding with kindness and blurting out some hurtful/unhelpful words and further disconnecting from those around you.
It can be the difference between yelling at your kids over spilling the milk (true story) and responding with kindness and understanding.
It can be the difference between sleeping that night because and staying up all night being annoyed at yourself for what you did/said.
