This week on Vitality Radio Podcast, Jared rants about antibiotics and how long to use antibiotics. Ultimately this rant is about how misinformation is made truth by repetition and from sources of authority. Why do we believe we must finish the course of antibiotics. Don't just do things because you are told. Ask questions!
Jared discusses why taking the full course of antibiotics may be detrimental to your immune system since it kills ALL bacteria (good and bad). Also, patients often receive antibiotics for viral infections, which those antibiotics will not kill the virus. Overuse of antibiotics leads to chronic infections. Jared also shares some alternative options to address common infections such as ear infections, urinary tract infections.
