180. Energetic Health

Listen Later

Let’s think about our health from a totally different angle today. We often talk about optimal health from a mental, emotional, or physical position. Lately, I’ve been thinking more about well-being in terms of energetic health. So let’s discuss energetic health and what it means to really take care of it!

Managing your energetic health requires you to:

  • Understand what your natural energetic health is
  • Consider how your methods for moving from one level to another are truly serving you
  • Being aware of your energy and how other people affect it
  • Show other people how to meet you where you are energetically
  • Shield yourself from unwanted energy

Embracing Your Natural Energetic Level

We all have a natural level of energy. It varies from person to person, but we all have it. This doesn’t mean that one level of energy is better or worse than another. It just is what it is. That’s why I talk about the importance of understanding and embracing your natural level of energy the way it is.

Understanding and Managing Your Energy

If we live at a lower energy and desire a higher energy, it’s important to notice where we are trying to get that energy. And if we’re trying to find a lower energy, we have to pay attention to how we try to bring ourselves down to that level. I explain how I define different energetic levels and why you may want to move from one to another based on the circumstances.

Something I have come to understand is how we flex our energy in different situations. Often, if we’re feeling very comfortable, we’ll bring our energy up and if we’re feeling uncomfortable, we’ll flex it down. This is important to know because we want to honor, accept, and optimize our energy.

Navigating Energetic Shifts

It’s normal for energy to shift when spending time with people of different energy levels. This doesn’t mean that something is wrong with your energy. Paying attention to how you feel when these shifts occur is a great way to understand what type of energy you want more of.

When energy you don’t want is coming at you, it’s crucial to shield yourself from it. I discuss what it takes to protect your energy level from outside forces. This usually involves setting boundaries and managing your environment to better support your desired energy.

What type of energetic shifts do you seek more of? Leave a comment on the episode page!

“You can mingle with any energy you want to mingle with if you abide by those golden rules; I will protect my energetic health, I expect that you can do the same, and together we will optimize.” [21:30]

“Really taking hold of your energetic health is allowing it to flex up and flex down without judgment and with acceptance.” [24:44]
