In today's episode, Emily has her good friend Jason Poston as a guest. Jason is a 1st Phorm athlete, IFBB Pro and 4x Olympian, husband, father of 3, trainer and entrepreneur. He is the only Type I diabetic male to ever make it to the Olympia. Jason is also partnered with Transcend and the two discuss their journey with HRT and how it has transformed their lives for the better. Jason goes into detail about some of the hardships he went through in his life and shares how you can overcome any setback you encounter. He talks about some of the time he spent in jail and how fitness put him on a new road to changing his life and the lives of his clients. He talks about his diagnosis with Type I diabetes and what he does to keep his health a priority. He also shares about his year of abstinence from dating, sex, alcohol and anything else that would be a distraction to him and how that changed his life for the better.
