I’ve decided to put together a mini six-part series on what it takes to make it in network marketing. We are in week four, so for the next two Mondays I’ll be sharing the things that now looking back on my success I think are what got me to where I am. If you want to find success in your business, listen carefully. In the last three weeks, I’ve shared why DECISION, VISION, OBSESSION, and ENERGY were and are important in my network marketing business. This week’s topic is SACRIFICE.When I started my network marketing business I had 2 children and a 4 week old newborn. I had made the decision, saw the vision, became obsessed, worked on my energy, and knew I could accomplish my goals if I ran life as I knew it then. Sacrifices had to be made. This meant fewer nights watching our favourite tv shows, fewer nights tucking the kids into bed, and more nights being out of the house doing presentations. Now looking back at my business and it’s growth, I see that a business requires that short-term spurts of sacrifice to create momentum to reach a goal.So think about this: How obsessed are you with your business? Are you making your business your priority, or are you working it around your television and social life schedule?
