Every morning, I ask myself a version of this question - "in terms of what I need to get done today, what is the optimal use of my time, energy and attention?" For this chat, Bobby, Tiff and I focus on the "energy" part of the question. It's true that many of us waste significant energy on things which provide us with a poor return on that energetic investment. That is, we focus on (obsess about?) things we can't really change or control, while investing little or no energy in the things we can. For me, learning to optimise my physical, mental and emotional energy has been a decades-long process. Enjoy.
