In today's episode, Emily wants to talk about connecting with others in your community and how special it is. It's important to seek out in person community because there is so much value when you connect with others. You never know what's waiting for you out there in your community. It takes work to get involved and can be uncomfortable. We're so used to sharing our lives online. You have to put yourself out there and commit to this goal just like anything else in life. What does community look like for you? Is it a gym, a church, a class? It's important to pick a place that is in alignment with your goals and what you want for your life and be intentional on what type of community you are pursuing. There will be times when you may not feel like you have the energy to put yourself out there, but it's important to have discipline here, just like with anything else. It may take time but it is so worth it. Have an open mindset and remember, your people are out there. Put your phone down and get into in person community. That's today's message.
