How many times have you sacrificed your peace trying to be there for people who don't want your help? How many times have you tried to steer people in the 'right' direction and they don't take your advice but you still go out of your way to try to guide them? I get it... you think it's noble... but it's not.

You can't want more for someone than they want for themselves. You have to understand that sometimes people have to learn from experience in order to make a change in their lives and no amount of love or influence you think you have over them will make them see things your way.

Your first priority is yourself. Make sure you're not being a sacrificial lamb to a wolf.
