For some, these sounds don’t just irritate…they create rage, tension, and a nervous system response that feels impossible to control.
So what is misophonia really?
Is it just sound sensitivity… or is something deeper being activated?
In this session, we look beyond the noise.
We explore:
• why certain sounds trigger anger and overwhelm
• how the nervous system learns to react
• the link between past experiences and present triggers
• why the reaction feels automatic
• and how awareness creates space between sound and response
At first, it looks like the sound is the problem.
But as we go deeper, a different picture begins to emerge.
Because sometimes the thing we are trying to escape…
is already living inside us.
