In this episode I speak with a woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. We trace the roots of illness back to the years before the diagnosis — the patterns of pleasing, over-doing, swallowing emotion, and carrying responsibility from childhood into adulthood. We explore how illness forms over time through thoughts, perceptions, and the roles we learn to live inside, and how the body becomes the place where those unexpressed parts take form.

This is a conversation about what happens when life forces a pause, when the body interrupts the pattern and asks for a different path. It shows how change begins when we stop living for approval and begin choosing ourselves — and the calm that enters the body when we do.
