The number one mistake I see network marketers make while prospecting on social media is putting a business offer into their initial message to a prospect before they even know if they are open to it. It gets even worse when a link is included in that initial message. If you are doing that, you need to stop immediately.
So how do we approach prospecting? The copy and paste strategy may have worked years ago, but in today's world you HAVE to make it conversational. Think of it as having a conversation with someone. In your initial message, only say what you would feel comfortable saying to someone face to face.
