In today’s episode, I interview my father-in-law Tom Wood, who gave up a steady salary and retirement benefits as a school teacher to pursue house flipping. Less than 10 months later, he is absolutely crushing it, averaging several deals per week, and has blown past his income goals!
The tips and tricks he uses to keep himself focused and motivated are just brilliant, and witnessing his transformation has been nothing short of inspiring. If he can do it, you can do it! And… what's with the marshmallow he's holding in the photo above? Listen and find out!

Today’s episode is a bit different. I want to talk to you about your “why.” Why flip houses? Why seek financial freedom? What's the real purpose behind your drive for success in this business?
The answer will be different for everyone, but for me and my wife, helping others is what really motivates and inspires us. When I started in this business, my main goal was to provide for my family, and I'm blessed to have reached a point where our financial needs are met. Yet ever since the beginning, my wife and I have wanted to get to a point where we can go beyond that and make a positive impact in the lives of others, to whatever extent we can.
In this episode of the House Flipping HQ podcast, I interview Dutch Turley, a former Navy SEAL who works with a non-profit called Operation Underground Railroad to rescue children who are victims of human trafficking and exploitation. I know Dutch personally. We attend the same church, we're part of the same community, and I can honestly say that he is a true hero. He's on the frontlines of a battle that many of us don't even know is being fought. Right now, there are millions of children all over the world who are trapped in slavery, and it takes organizations like Operation Underground Railroad to intervene, rescue, and rehabilitate these kids, giving them a fresh start and the opportunity to live a healthy, normal life.
Listen to this episode. Much of what Dutch Turley has to say is heartbreaking, and I know this is a sensitive subject. But the work this organization is doing is extremely important.
Dutch Turley and the other members of the O.U.R. team are putting themselves in harm's way to free children from slavery by organizing sting missions in human trafficking hotspots around the world, bringing in local law enforcement agents to arrest the traffickers and collaborating with local NGOs to provide rehabilitation and a safe place for the children they save. It's incredible.
I've pledged to help support the work they're doing in whatever way I can, and I'd like you to join me in this.
It costs about $60,000 to fund one of these rescue missions. My goal is to raise $60,000 for O.U.R. by the end of this year.
We're going to accomplish this in two ways.
At the end of the day, your “why” is important. Success and financial freedom are great goals, and I want to encourage you to continue pushing your business forward; don't lose focus on that. Increased success will allow you to make an even bigger impact. But as you grow your business, don't forget about the “why.” What can you do to improve the lives of others and give back to your community and the world?

Today I interview Mark Podolsky, the “Land Geek,” who gives us the rundown on making passive money through investing in raw land! This is something a bit different than what I usually feature on this podcast; like I always say, there are a million ways to make a million dollars, and this is another one! However, don't let this distract you from your focus, whether that's wholesaling or house flipping or whatever it may be.

Today, I interview Justin Colby, a professional house flipper, wholesaler, and real estate developer who started out “broke, busted, and disgusted” 7 years ago and is now taking massive action to scale his business while finding creative opportunities in a highly competitive real estate market!
Justin Colby has completed hundreds of transactions, and his story is a powerful example of the value of taking action where it counts and getting the right guidance from the right people. “We did 6 deals,” he says. “The year after that, we did 20. The year after that, we did 43. The year after that, we did 96, and so on, and so on, and now we’re developing 79 homes, we’re wholesaling 3 to 5 a month, and we’re flipping about 1 a month.”
Yes, you read that right—Justin Colby is currently building 79 townhomes from the ground up, something he has never done before, while continuing to push his wholesaling and retail flipping business. Listen in as he shares his story and how he does it!

In today's episode, I have the privilege of introducing you to something I'm very excited about. It's a project that has been in the works for a while. You've heard me hint at it in previous episodes, and now it's here! Introducing the House Flipping Formula Coaching & Implementation Program!
I also interview Andy McFarland, a good friend and one of the best wholesalers I know, who is going to be a huge part of House Flipping Formula. We talk about why we created this, why we're teaming up, and what you can expect in the program.

Official Launch of House Flipping Formula! We're now taking signups for House Flipping Formula, an updated, expanded, and rebranded version of my house flipping coaching program! I can't begin to describe how excited I am about this. Andy McFarland, who I interview in this episode, is joining me as a coach and will be deeply involved in the educational content and the live calls.
Here's a quick breakdown of what's included in the program.
My goal with this program is to provide all the education, resources, documents, and guidance you’ll need to build a successful house flipping business. You’ll start doing the work to succeed while we’re going through the program, so there’s definitely a lot of ACTION in addition to LEARNING. You’ll also become part of the House Flipping Mastermind group, which is a community of new and experienced house flippers and mentors working together to learn and build their businesses.
And while the “gurus” will charge you $20k to $40k for something like this, I’m making this available for less than $2k for lifetime access. So definitely check it out! Get all the details here.
This program is not for everyone, but if you’re serious about this business, I honestly believe it can help you get started and get to that next level. I’ve coached hundreds of people, and I’ve seen it happen many times.
So if that’s where you are right now and you want to take that next step, I would love to have you join us. Click here to learn more about House Flipping Formula!
