Life coaching is something that can, and will, impact your entire life when you give it a chance. This is my story: how I found life coaching, why I embraced the thought model, and what happened when I followed my passion.
The Key Steps to Life Coaching
Life Coaching and Psychology
Life coaching is more similar to psychology and therapy than many people realize. When I first learned about life coaching, I appreciated that so much of it uses the thought model to help process life and emotions, which is a concept rooted in psychology.
When you learn that your thoughts are not facts, you can start the process of understanding them. And once you understand your thoughts, you can improve your entire life.
An outside perspective, like a life coach, is essential to helping you establish thought from fact. For me, personally, my own coach is pivotal in helping call me in on some of my thoughts and moving me forward.
How Your Passions Make You Better
When you’re able to see your thoughts for what they are, you spend less time stuck in fruitless loops. Creating this space actually lets you open yourself up to explore what you’re passionate about.
When you embrace your passions, life truly begins to open up for you. You allow yourself to explore, play, and have fun - all the things that life is actually about.
The final piece of life coaching is that when you’re showing up fully for yourself, embracing your passions, and understanding thoughts, emotions, and facts, you’re more capable of showing up for other people. Healed people heal people, my friends.

Quotes
“In coaching, we help you get from Point A to Point B by understanding your thoughts.” [10:45]
“This is life coaching, my friends. I’m giving you an inside look at my journey with how coaching really impacted it. I wouldn’t be where I am right now if I was not coached at the intensity that I was. I’ve made an investment in myself and as soon as I signed up to be a life coach myself, I hired a coach. It’s so powerful to have somebody to help me see my thoughts.” [15:23]
“When I allowed my passion to shine through is when everything started to click.” [21:41]
