“You’re probably an addict”, David Gillespie informed me during this chat. He seems to think I may have a slight predisposition to obsess, overdo and deny. But.. pfft, what does he know? As always, this was an informative, fun and thought-provoking chat. Among other things, we spoke about Aussies being the biggest gamblers in the world (per capita), how profitable people’s addictions can be (for others), uncertainty, expectation and dopamine, how pigeons can develop superstitions (for real), my recent ten-day obsession to a game in my phone (I had to delete it) and lots more.
