Research shows around 50% of all marriages in the United States will end in divorce.  That is a staggering statistic! Why is this happening and what is causing this trend? While there are probably many answers to this question, but couples are obviously falling out of love.

When couples are first dating, they do the things in the relationship that builds love and that continues to grow. They get married and think their whole life will be like it was when they were dating and the feelings will just grow, only to find out as time goes by, they slowing start to fall out of love. They stop working on the relationship, going on dates, doing fun things together and the things that caused them to fall in love. Love is something you have to constantly work on and for it to continue to grow, and if you stop doing the things that strengthen the love for each other, then the love is going to eventually wither away and die.

When love is absent in a marriage, you just end up with 2 people living with each other.
