I've had an estimated 100 meaningful conversations with business owners in the last month.

The majority of these are my private clients, but I took trips to Providence and New York in September, and spent time with folks from other circles as well.

I never ceased to be amazed by how much we think we're unique in our circumstances, when it's clear there are so many common patterns and headaches among us.

Between ages, markets, niches, cities -- I can say this with reasonable certainty -- whatever you're facing, there are thousands of other people in your exact same shoes.
