  • Blake Pavey Is A TikTok Sensation & Comedic Genius.

Blake Pavey is an 18 year old Aussie TikTok sensation.

You wont find him doing the 'renegade' or hitting the 'woah' but rather as one of the many characters in his social media comedic skits.

His style has been likened to that of Chris Lilley & there is no doubt that beyond the app that has taken the world by storm, Blake has a bright future ahead of him in the big wide world of entertainment.

When he's not popping up in your 'for you' page, he's just living life as a typical Aussie fella. On the cusp of finishing his years at school & navigating life as a fellow cystic fibrosis patient, Blake has a great 'take it as it comes' attitude & doesn't let life's challenges define him or weigh him down.

A really good fella & a fun little chat that i'm sure you will enjoy,

  • The Story Behind #42forCF.

As many of you know, I was born with Cystic Fibrosis. CF predominately effects the respiratory system & as a result in late June/early July this year I suffered from some bleeding in the small airways of my lungs.

Whilst sitting in the emergency room at Wollongong Hospital I had the inspiration to run a marathon before the years end. Proving that no hurdle can stand in your way if you have a positive outlook & great work ethic.

Now 8 weeks into my training with the guidance of my coach Ben Seymour & the support of the team at CF Australia, #42forCF will be the first official marathon event in Wollongong's history. While Covid has reduced our capacity to a small crew, the event has gone virtual with plans to see runners logging their efforts from all over Australia on December 12th in honour of Cystic Fibrosis.

To support the cause you can donate to the #42forCF fundraising page with all funds going directly to CF Australia and/or share your running efforts whether they be big or small to instagram tagging myself @bradleyjdryburgh & @cfaustralia on December 12th & in the lead up to the day!

  • Sandor Earl On Embracing Life's Challenges & Being Fuelled By Fire.

Sandor Earl is one of the NRL's biggest stories.

Growing up, Sandor's first love was rugby league. The outsider would say he's talented, he disagrees. As he reflects on what got him to where he is today, he credits his insane work ethic for his success as a footballer. It's a trait that shines through in everything he does. Not only is Sandor a professional athlete but also a business owner with a number of projects running outside of 4 lines on the footy field.

But like any great story, it's not been all smooth sailing. We reflected on the Stephen Dank peptide scandal that lead to his 4 year ban from Rugby League & cleared the air on the confusion surrounding the story, his mindset coming through that phase of his life & the way it fuelled a fire inside to not only come back to rugby league but to rather make the most of life & the cards he has been dealt.

I have a great amount of respect for Sandor & the way he looks at life. His advice for you & I... to embrace failure & every challenge life throws at you. You grow from it & learn along the way.

  • Pat Farmer Has Run Across The World In Service Of Others.

Pat Farmer is arguably one of Australia's greatest runners.

He has run around the world in pursuit of purpose, to raise funds & awareness for numerous charities whilst experiencing some of the worlds most beautiful & volatile territory along the way.

From jogging through the beautiful Petra, sweating bullets in the Simpson desert or running surrounded by armed guards in Panama, Pat has lived an exciting life but it's not all running. Having served his time in politics doing great things for his community Pat has shown that he is one of the most selfless people you will meet. He lives life in service of others to help those around him live better & it is honourable.

You can see that Pat has lived his life to the fullest. The mantra is to always finish what you started, something the great Cliff Young taught him along the way & bloody hell he's done a great job of it.

I am sure you will enjoy this episode as much as I did.

  • Logan Dodds - Life Is Finite, Will You Make The Most Of It?

Logan Dodds is an extraordinary human being, living an extraordinary life.

After losing his father to a sudden stroke at the age of 18, Logan learnt the hard way that life is a blessing that can be taken from you at any minute. That lesson has ultimately shaped his way of life.

Pursuing his passion for travel resulted in a life changing opportunity. Logan was quick to notice it, grabbing the bull by the horns & leveraging his new found social media audience to dive into the world of videography & photography. He uses his skillset to freelance whilst partnering with brands & products he believes in for lots of little projects along the way.

The back bone of it all is his plumbing trade. Whilst he's off the tools these days, he knows the comfort of having a a trade behind him & built a company called 'The Trade collective' to encourage kids leaving school to get a trade that allows them to chase their dreams with the security of a plan b.

In this episode we covered it all. However most importantly we discussed life & how fragile it can be. A question Logan asked in one of his youtube videos set the tone for todays episode. "If you had a quoter on the amount of moments that made up your life, how would you use them?"

Think about that one, it may very well change your life.

  • Joe Daymond On Realising Dreams & Believing In Your True Purpose.

Joe Daymond was a guest on the show back in April this year.

At the time we touched on the years of blood sweat & tears that had gone into his craft, both writing & performing stand up comedy. In April, he had started to take social media by storm, an exciting feeling for a creative who had fought to keep his head above water after years without recognition. Fast forward 3 months & he is the youngest comedian in New Zealand's history to sell out sky city arena in Auckland & has come off the back of a 10 show tour.

To be fair, he has been one of the great success stories to come out of this crazy year we call 2020. After our first episode together, Joe & I connected as mates. For all the laughs we have shared these past months, what has meant more to me is to see this great fella have the success he deserves.

Underneath the laughs Joe has an unwavering belief in himself. At times everyone doubted him, but he never doubted himself. The message... believe in yourself & be who you want to be. There is nothing more powerful than that.

Support Joe on his IG @joe.daymond his podcast SHXT Talk & through his patreon.

They are partnered with an international group of brands, festivals and governments looking to solve business problems with creativity and craft. In that sense, a spirit of collaboration and a maker attitude defines their work.

  • Grayson Hart Is The Co-Founder Of Pure Sport CBD.

Grayson Hart is a kiwi born pro rugby player & the co-founder of Pure Sport CBD.

Pure Sport CBD came to fruition when Grayson & his business partner, both professional athletes experienced the benefits of CBD.

After years of playing a high contact physical game the two were sick of coping with the constant aches and pains of old injuries and the heavy contact they were taking in their profession. It was proving hard to get through training and be ready to play week in week out without using painkillers and anti-inflammatory medications. Both felt the adverse side effects on their health and overall feeling of well-being.

As soon as CBD (Cannabidiol) was ticked off the banned substance list, and given the all clear by UK Anti-Doping, the two players tried a few drops of CBD oil and were amazed by the quick and positive beneficial effects.

With a little more research they saw that there were some risks involved with buying CBD over the counter, as many brands still had small traces of THC which is a banned substance in sport. For their own peace of mind they undertook a worldwide search for someone who could provide a CBD blend that was safe and suitable for professional athletes but they could not find it.

Through help from some of the best in the business, they created a bespoke product made for athletes to take CBD safely. These two players saw an opportunity to provide a game-changing supplement that was safe for them and many other athletes to take.

Pure Sport CBD goes through a rigid testing protocol which involves two separate third party companies testing each batch of product to guarantee 0% THC. Our products are tested by the most advanced cannabinoid testing kit in the world. They only provide products that have Non detectable levels of THC. They make sure the blend is of the highest quality in order to provide the most effective results.

It was a pleasure to host Grayson on my show & I look forward to trying the product!

  • Tom Waterhouse Is A Business Thoroughbred.

The Waterhouse name has been etched in stone for their contribution to horse racing.

It started with Bill. The famous bookmaker known best for betting big. Then his son Robbie, the form genius. Robbie married Gai who would become one of/if not the best trainer in the racing business & within time their son Tom was born.

However, Tom along with sister Kate didn't grow up with that same passion for horse racing. For them, it was a boring conversation at the dinner table & that weekend/summer job at the stables they dreaded just thinking about.

Until Tom took a day off from university to help his father Robbie at the track one Saturday. Thats when it all changed. With an eye for business, Tom took quick notice of the way money moved in the betting rings & instantly fell in love.

Learning under his grandfather & father, Tom spent his early years in the industry as an on track bookmaker. As times changed, he innovated & grew.

Over a decade later, Tom has had multiple successes in the racing business & created a personal brand that has him now recognised as a household name. With the launch of their new app & all the exciting things happening at tomwaterhouse.com the future looks bright for the now 38 year old.

It was my pleasure to sit down with Tom to talk business, life & have a laugh along the way.

I hope you enjoy one of my most exciting episodes yet.

  • Carmen Greentree On Surviving Abduction & Sexual Abuse In India.

Carmen Greentree is an incredible human being.

Her childhood trauma was the catalyst for her professional surfing career. At first it was the the pursuit of physical exercise that allowed her to escape the pain of depression, then the ocean & the waves allowed her to disconnect from the real world.

What started as an escape turned into a career. Travelling the world as a professional surfer, Carmen's career was cut short in her early 20's when she wasn't able to compete in a tournament that would have qualified her for the pro circuit.

Spiralling into depression, Carmen was seeking answers. Looking to understand herself & heal her years of emotional trauma, the discovery of spiritual practices gave her hope. Amongst those she met along the journey of self discovery, it was highly recommended that she travel to India to study under the Dalai Lama.

Soon she found herself having landed in Delhi. The journey to discover her best self had begun but what Carmen could never have imagined was the 2 months that were ahead of her.

Abducted, sexually abused & held captive by an evil man, Carmen endured the hardest 2 months of her life before she experienced a miracle.

A miracle in the form of a friends intuition, the answer to her prayers.

An incredible story that she has shared in her memoir 'A Dangerous Pursuit Of Happiness'.

Carmen is one of the strongest people I have met. An incredible woman who shares her story in hope of helping others heal, I feel honoured to have hosted her on my show.
