In this month's edition of "Dear Progressor," you'll hear from members of this community who called in and answered my prompt to share small tips that make a big difference. This episode is based on the idea that small wins build over time, in all aspects of our lives.
We get to hear from a school teacher staying organized, about the benefits of meal planning and calendar syncing, a laundry hack, how to meditate in a busy day, how to shift your habits and a genius way to store your garbage bags and wash your pillowcases.
About Progress is a COMMUNITY, not a fan club! We want to feature YOUR voice on the show. Find out how here!

Are you a self-defined worrier? Though you are likely all too familiar with this feeling, let's define what it means to worry. Worrying is ruminating about a negative outcome, often times completely out of your control.
Kelley Wolf has worked to identify the methods for finding love over worry, and achieving a state of flow, or peace and joy. But she also recognizes that worrying will never totally disappear, and even gets vulnerable sharing her own recent worries. In doing so she walks us through her approach to working through those feelings, including the words she actually says out loud.
Although Kelley does share where she thinks you can start, and a few of her simple tips, we both emphasize that this is a slow, but worthy process. If you have struggled with an all-or-nothing mindset that leaves you spiraling in your worry, or completely numbing yourself to it, then this is the episode you need to just get started in a better direction.

Is the thought of creating a picture-perfect morning routine nagging you? Or really any routine that you feel like you should be implementing...
In this coaching call, you'll hear Rhonda who is a busy mom of 4 explain her current season's struggle. Interestingly, the problem she thinks she has turns out to be something quite different at the root. As we zoom in, we actually take the focus off of the expectations of an ideal morning, and realize what she is really seeking is connection. From there, we rebuild her morning.
We also cover what her routine will look like on the best of days, and more importantly on the worst of days, as she now sets out to intentionally grow her new habits. You can listen in and follow the same framework for whatever routine or habit you're trying to create.

We are all familiar with our 'comfort zones,' right? What if by staying comfortable, we're really staying stuck? The familiar things that we know feel safe, even if they keep us stuck. If you are really ready to change, you have to be willing to move into the discomfort zone. It's going to stretch you, just like an elastic band, but it doesn't have to break you.
In this episode I'm sharing two of my own personal experiences with this principle, and how learning to be uncomfortable propelled me into greater growth. When you listen, I urge you to try leaning into this kind of discomfort and see what changes for you.

The Lazy Genius method, coined by Kendra Adachi, says that we should be geniuses about the things that matter, and lazy about the things that don't. And who's to say what matters? From tricky layouts, to meal planning, and every drool worthy Instagram kitchen in between, Kendra wants you to feel completely empowered to make your space a reflection of you and your values. An added bonus is that with these tools you may start with your kitchen, and end up transforming your life.
