Recently I saw a jaw dropping, gorgeous dance performance that just floored me with its genius. 

There was a moment during the show where I reflected on all the things I yearn for when I’m feeling lonesome. 

{Insert fantasy of the perfect home/money/partner/body/creative idea that capitalism and other oppressive systems insist would bring total fulfillment.}

“If those things were to walk in the door right now, I don’t think I’d even look in their direction” I thought. 

The reason? 

The thing I actually long for, what I choose to call Gxd, was right there before me onstage. 

Art = Gxd made visible through beauty.
