Today, Trav and Pat answer your listener questions.
They speak about how to manage a work/family balance, is it OK to have a day of doing nothing, and what are some plans for 'the hub' coming soon.
Strap in, because a couple of answers get a bit deep today!
Today Trav tells you the story about what happened two weeks ago, when thieves broke into his house while he and his family were asleep, and stole his car.
It turns into a bit of a counselling session, and we also dig into the deeper reasons around emotions and reactions. It's not what you would expect from two personal trainers, but trust me, you're going to want to listen to this one.
We also speak about a new book 'multipliers' and what we learnt about it, and how we have implemented it with the Reborn team.
So you will learn a lot about this in terms of business, leadership and life in general.
Enjoy!
Up toos Reborn.
Today Trav and Pat take you through everything that has been happening over the past month.
From the new gym 'The Hub' being built, the upcoming challenge at Reborn, the Reborn team's main focus over the last few months, and what the boys are training for themselves.
Grab a cold drink, put your feet up, and enjoy.
Trav and Pat speak about the one book they recommend people to read over any other - Atomic Habits.
What is so good about this book, and why should you read it?
Listen to find out.

Today, Trav and Pat take you through their experiences in doing the 75 hard program from Andy Frisella.
Here is the link if you want to hear it from the man himself - warning about the language, don't listen to it with kids around. https://open.spotify.com/episode/1tDHTAgvqC6BVeHL9Fedha?si=kT4-5lIkRTeqBCOZgY2IrA (https://open.spotify.com/episode/1tDHTAgvqC6BVeHL9Fedha?si=kT4-5lIkRTeqBCOZgY2IrA) Trav and Pat ask each other questions about how their experiences were during the 75 days when they comple ted it, plus give out advice to anyone wanting to give it a go themselves.
Enjoy.
Trav and Pat go throught their individual Routines.
Maintaining a consistent routine is key to achieving my health and fitness goals while ensuring a balanced life.
I strategically structure my week to accommodate regular training, prioritising tasks during my prime time (8am-12pm), and preparing for the upcoming week well in advance.
Furthermore, I diligently carve out quality time for my family and personal solitude, regardless of the demands of my schedule.
This systematic approach, focusing on the same activities at the same times each week, provides a predictable structure, fosters discipline, and propels me towards my goals while enhancing my relationships and personal wellbeing.
My Foundational Routine Elements:
Regular Sleep Pattern:
I maintain a consistent sleep schedule, going to bed and waking up at the same time every day.
Regular Exercise:
I prioritise fitness by setting a fixed schedule for training, which is typically the first activity I undertake each morning.
Time-Blocking:
I use the method of time-blocking to manage my tasks, allocating specific time slots for each task in my schedule.
Prioritisation:
I tackle my most challenging or energy-intensive tasks during my prime productivity hours, which are typically between 8 am and 12 pm.
Weekly Preparation:
I ensure a smooth week by planning and preparing for it in advance during the preceding week.
Consistency:
I maintain consistency in my routines, repeating the same activities every week. This helps me create habits and routines that support my productivity and wellness.
Listen to Trav and Pats catch you up with everything that has happened in the last 12 months plus the exciting future in store for Reborn. Enjoy
