Diane Ladd is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker (LICSW), a behavioral health Counselor and a woman diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Taking her health into her own hands, after worsening MS symptoms in 2022 and a second autoimmune diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diane was forced to close her thriving behavioral health practice due to debilitating fatigue symptoms.

After much study and contemplation, she made the life-saving decision to eat a strict carnivore diet, with the hope of alleviating symptoms. On March 5, 2024 Diane began eating only animal products, water, salt and little morning coffee; and one year later reports that she has reversed nearly 100% of symptoms of MS and RA.

Ed Latimore is an American former professional heavyweight boxer and standout amateur super heavyweight boxer. Despite starting to box at the late age of 22, he became the 2011 Pennsylvania State Golden Gloves super heavyweight champion, the National Police Athletic League super heavyweight champion, and silver medalist at the Ringside International Boxing Tournament.

He ended his amateur career with a peak USA Boxing ranking of #4 in the United States with a record of 48-11. As a professional heavyweight, Ed Latimore was promoted by Jay-Z’s sports promotion company, Roc Nation Sports. Latimore credits the mindset he developed from boxing with helping him get sober in 2013 and going from a failing high school math student to graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics at age 33.

Ed has spoken about the role of boxing in these major life transformations in his TEDx talk, keynote speeches, at conferences, and to collegiate football teams. He is the author of several books, and just finished his latest book, Hard Lessons From the Hurt Business: Boxing and the Art of LIfeset to be published by Penguin Randomhouse this summer in 2025.

Rachel Frase is a practicing registered dietitian in Connecticut with 13 years’ experience, who began her career working as a clinical dietitian in the traditional healthcare model, and has spent her last 8 years working with patients to prevent and reverse chronic metabolic conditions.

She spent several years in the medical weight loss field, guiding patients with nutritional and lifestyle changes to support and maintain weight loss as well as improve metabolic markers, and the last couple years using tailored ketogenic diets in a metabolic psychiatry practice.

Her journey with her own GI issues that could not be resolved by traditional medicine led her down the rabbit holes of diet and lifestyle, as she was determined to get her health and quality of life back. It led her to peel back the layers of what true human nutrition really is and how it heals.

She enjoys living an active life and getting outdoors as much as possible. She participates in a variety of activities, currently including running in a club called the Run 169 Towns Society where the goal is to run a race in every town in Connecticut, open water swimming, and hiking with her husband at national park sites.

Gregg Rocheford became a  personal friend as we met through our show! Gregg worked as a geologist, an IT professional, and has climbed Devils Tower, jumped out of a plane (twice), and slept in a snow cave!

In 2021, Gregg heard that an approach called “intermittent fasting” was effective for losing weight. As a chair bound IT professional, Gregg developed a soft muffin top around his waistline.

In August 2021, Gregg fasted for 206 hours in three weeks and started a physical Therapy program for past shoulder injuries. He began to notice big changes, and even his wife was impressed with the changes she had noticed in such a short time. He then began eating a low carbohydrate, meat-based diet which produced even more results.

After retiring at 62, in 2022, Gregg purchased a college biology textbook at his local Goodwill. What followed is a continuing and amazing journey of body and mind. Gregg joined a local YMCA when he turned 65 in 2024 and has added enough muscle mass that he gets regular compliments from many who guess that he is much younger than 65. Recently, he began a part-time job at the YMCA as a Health and Wellness Coach!

Kim Howerton is a certified Metabolic Health Coach health coach, teacher, speaker, and author. Her motivation to become a health coach was fueled by her own experience of ill health, which included polycystic ovarian condition, binge eating disorder, major depressive disorder, hypothyroidism, morbid obesity (now termed level 3 obesity), metabolic dysfunction, gastritis, IBS, and autoimmune disease.

As age forty loomed, she knew she needed to get serious about her health, and over the next several years she devoted herself to getting educated about what it means to become and remain a healthy human.
