Learning to stand up, speak up, and promote empowered decisions, while supporting and cheering for strong women, shows your children they can do the same. If you want them rising each time they fall, standing up to mistreatment, believing in themselves when others don't, and choosing to go after their dreams, it's time to strengthen that within yourself. You are their primary example of how to be.
Taylor Swift is a prime example of rising each time you fall, getting up even when others try to push you down. She does it over and over again. Whether you like her or don't is irrelevant for this. This is about change. It's about being strong yourself, learning why you stay small and quiet in certain circumstances, and how you can start making a difference in your own life and those around you.
