It’s a family feud and sibling squabble kind of week as we watch 2010’s The Fighter go toe to toe with 2011’s Warrior. However, fear not, because both brawling brother films contain love, loss, family, feuds… and fighting. It’s quite literally a fight of the fighters. Let the games begin!

Last week saw a child enter the world of movies. Well this week we’re seeing a princess enter the world of reality! When an evil stepmother banishes Princess Giselle from her kingdom, she's transported to the real world, where she meets a lawyer and falls for him. It's Disney flattering itself but also making fun of itself, too! The sequel, Disenchanted is out now, so this isn’t an episode you'll want to miss!

It’s an unlikely clash happening this week… In the red corner we have 1993’s Last Action Hero, where a young movie fan find himself playing the action movie character of his dreams via the help of a magic ticket. While in the blue corner we have 2007’s Disney’s Enchanted, with an equally ludicrous premise. It’s fantasy at its finest this week. You could even say it’s Arnold Schwarznegger vs Amy Adams… kind of. Sport, sport, sport! This week we’ve pitted a 1988 American romantic comedy sports film against a 1996 American romantic comedy sports film. On Monday’s episode we talked all things Bull Durham, so today we’re tackling the majestic gold movie that is Tin Cup. A wrecked up golf pro tries to qualify for the US Open in order to win over the girlfriend of one of his more successful rivals… totally normal behaviour.

Batters up! Stepping up to the plate this week are two sickly/sweet romcoms disguised as sports dramas. Firstly, Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon swap RBI’s for romance in 1988’s Bull Durham!
Kevin wrestles with his love for America’s diamond (the baseball field), as he and Tim Robbins pitch for Sarandon’s affections amidst the hard knocks of suburban North Carolina. This film actually once topped Sports Illustrated’s list of the greatest sports movies of all time - not that the plot, character development or dialogue would suggest such a thing. Let’s play!
