For someone who I've known for two decades, it's amazing that I've only interviewed her and her husband once. This was the first time to interview Nada individually and what a profound treat it was!

It's been breathtaking to watch her evolution as she balances her superpowers of mind and heart. So many of our childhood wounds turn into coping mechanisms that allow us to thrive vocationally. She is an extraordinary litigator and has a masterful capacity to not be triggered, see both sides of a situation and communicate in a way so that everyone feels heard. She brilliantly sees a way through where others hit a wall.

However these coping mechanisms from our childhood wounds rarely turn into capacities that invite deeper intimacy. They are rooted in validated fears, disappointments, feeling devalued or unseen. I so respect her bravery, consistency and willingness to feel her feelings and integrate these wounds into deeper intimacy with herself, her husband and her children.

And honestly with me :-) These intimacy skills have allowed our friendship to deepen over the past 20 years. We have an ability to have tough conversations in a way where we both feel safe enough to tell the truth. We share a certainty that we will always get to the other side. And be closer and better for it. And we also have a bloody good time being alive together :-)

She has seen me through several legal moments and ferociously had my back with calm elegance and unwavering clarity. She has witnessed my heartache with my 13 yr custody battle. She stood by me for 18 months to ensure the domestically violent ex-boyfriend pleaded guilty for criminal assault. And she stood by me when the entrepreneurial community in which we were members, terminated me without cause but kept the criminal.

To have her as a valued, cherished and consistent member of our Inner Circle coaching community and supporting facilitator at our annual Intimacy Retreats warms my heart to no end. She can always be counted on to dive deep into her heart and speak with integrity of her Soul's truth.
