Aaron Golub  joins #Clockedin with Jordan Edwards and discusses how a adversity does not define us and through his story shows how it makes us stronger. 

Aaron became the first legally blind athlete to play football in a Division 1 game when he was at Tulane University.  He was a captain in his senior year, and went on to also become an NFL free agent.  Aaron never let his limited vision get in the way of his success.  Aaron’s grit, determination and effort enabled him to earn a spot on the Tulane team, and the respect of his teammates, coaches and fans. Aaron began playing football in seventh grade and worked extremely hard to get where he is today.  His goal is to show others that it doesn’t matter what they are fighting or what their perceived limitations are; anything is achievable with hard work and tuning out the judgment of others.  His planning, passion and perseverance enables him to be successful. Aaron has paved the way for others with disabilities, and shown that the impossible is possible.

Jeff Lopes joins #Clockedin with Jordan Edwards and discusses the importance of balancing family and entrepreneurship and shares about his experiences. 

Jeff started his journey at a young age when registered and began operating his first business before the age of 17.  Jeff went on to create and participate in many such brands before 2006 when he started Kimurawear. The brand Kimurawear is dedicated to innovating the Boxing and Martial Arts equipment Industry with the highest quality of products.  It has sold well over a quarter-million pairs of boxing gloves since its inception.  In 2008 he experienced a life-altering moment that significantly changed his personal life. In Jeff's own words, the moment created a new purpose.  Jeff realized quickly to achieve that purpose, family time would become the number one factor.  That was the moment Jeff dove headfirst into not working harder, but working smarter by creating passion income.  Jeff spent the next few years planning his future ventures. In 2014, he ventured into the vacation rental business market, and TrueBlue Homes was created. TrueBlue Homes quickly grew into a vast portfolio of vacation properties in the beautiful Northern parts of Ontario, Canada.  His newest venture is in the full process, he is building a cabin resort in the gorgeous area of Muskoka, Canada.

After all of this, one of his true passions is building a balance between fatherhood/entrepreneurs, this is being achieved with his coaching business. The Jeff Knows Inc Podcast allows that platform to be expanded at a rapid pace.

Mikey Taylor is the current President and Managing principal of Commune Capital, a private equity real estate investment firm. A serial entrepreneur at heart, he first found success with nearly two decades of professional skateboarding. Throughout his career, Mr. Taylor held lucrative sponsorship contracts with DC Shoe Co., GoPro Cameras and Alien Workshop. Over his tenure, he had over 100 signature skateboard decks, 7 pro model shoes and was one of the most recognizable pro skateboarders on the planet. Not one to rest on his laurels, early in his career, Mr. Taylor was already thinking about life after skateboarding. What’s next was co-founding and eventual launch of Saint Archer Brewing Company. This San Diego based craft beer company and its first of its kind business model, led to quick success and multi-million dollar purchase by MillerCoors Company in 2015. Since then, Mr. Taylor has been busy, co-founding Sovrn Skateboards, Avni Intelligence (an entrepreneur education platform and podcast) and most importantly Commune Capital. Armed with only a high school education, but more than a lifetime of real world experience, Mr. Taylor is committed to assisting the next generation define the new American dream. Chris Gronkowski first made a career for himself as a professional football player. He joined the NFL in 2010 after being signed by the Dallas Cowboys as a fullback. During his years in the NFL, Gronkowski also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. In 2016, he decided to put his entrepreneurial skills to the test when he set out to create a protein shaker bottle that would alleviate many of the issues he and other avid athletes experience with standard protein shakers.
