Today on The WoMed, Madalyn Nguyen (@themadmusings) shares her motivation behind becoming an osteopath, her soon-to-be-concluded journey through medical school, and how she uses her influence to spread positivity and help others reach their goals. Madalyn, D, and Dani are coming to you from the FIGS retreat in Ojai, and start off today’s episode with a Lubrication Question centered on which animal would be most polite. (The answer, by the way, is definitely not racoons.) Madalyn explains the differences between MD’s and DO’s and why she chose to follow a path to become the latter. Growing up, Madalyn’s greatest role model was her aunt, who helped her to realize her life’s mission to help others through a holistic approach of mind and body. She discusses what led her to begin using Instagram as a creative outlet, how she practices selfcare, and her biggest values and greatest fears. The WoMed share how their joint experience in Peru with Madalyn led them to realize what a loving, bright soul she is – even if she doesn’t care for personal space.
