In this episode, I interview my eldest daughter, Genevieve. As a Waldorf alumni, she is speaking with me today about her experiences as a person of color in the Waldorf community.

While she has many positive memories of being a Waldorf student from pre-school through 12th grade, she will be sharing some of the more difficult experiences that she had as a student of color. Even within a caring and open space that Waldorf schools strive to create, people of color are still finding that their race affects their experience within the community. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

While Genevieve didn’t leave Kimberton feeling negative about the school, there is still room for growth in the Waldorf community especially when it comes to diversity and she hopes this conversation will inspire people to bring change to their school communities.
