In this conversation I sit down with George from The Tin Men to discuss issues that disproportionately affect men. We both find that in feminist spaces conversations about men tend to be drowned out by slogans that say "men did this to themselves," or "well the patriarchy affects men too," but is that why men are living shorter lives? Or have fallen behind in education? Or die by suicide more? How can we have these conversations and integrate them into our lives without it taking away from other issues that we're talking about?

I ask my friend Amanda about almost everything you can possibly imagine as a therapist who has a large online platform. We talk about people who take things too seriously online, sobriety, eating disorders, identity and it's influence in therapy and how to have difficult conversations. This was one convo I didn't want to end!!

Feeling hungry for love but a desire for space at the same time in really extreme ways? In this episode we go over the least talked about attachment, disorganized baby! Clementine and I are both disorganized attachers and we go into how disorganized attachment may occur, what the symptoms are of disorganized attachment, why it's such a bitch and ways we can cope. If you're unfamiliar with attachment theory head back to episode #53 with Silvy where we discuss what attachment theory!

In this episode we sit down with Garrett from Fight the New Drug. An organization that is non partisan and non religious, bringing science backed data to discuss the impacts of porn. I was blown away and revealed more than I expected to. Garrett gave me a lot to think about and surprised me with some of the shocking facts and statistics that aren't usually talked about in porn positive spaces.

In this explosive episode we discuss with our good friend Molly all about Cancel Culture. Molly has been a critique of cancel cultured and has authored some extensive articles about it. We dive into what cancel culture is, what her first time being cancelled was like, what the health effects of cancel culture may lead to and ultimately... when would be the appropriate time to cancel someone?

We sit down with my amazing friend Zack to talk about sexual trauma from a male POV. We discuss all about masculinity the way it impacted him and how his healing journey went. I am in awe by Zack's ability to be vulnerable and open with such a sensitive topic.

When I first found Dr. Greg Dodell on instagram it felt like such a breath of fresh air watching a doctor talk about the harmful effects of weight bias and weight stigma, along with learning all about the endocrine system. And that's what today's episode is all about! We learn about what the endocrine system is, how Dr. Dodell came to learn about weight bias/stigma, what that looks like in a medical setting, how stress effects our endocrine systems and so much more!

In this episode we look at diet culture with one of my favourite humans and RDN's, Shana Minei Spence. We talk about bullshit in the diet world, how intuitive eating isn't actually that easy and some of our favourite (cue sarcasm) diet's and other nonsense in the diet culture space.

What is fear? Is fear different than anxiety? What about the link between fear and stress? We discuss all of that today with our amazing guest biopsychologist Mary Poffenroth. She seriously blows my mind and you will enjoy this episode so much!
