What is shamanic astrology and how can it help with healing and transformation?
How does exploring one's Sacred Blueprint aid in moving beyond trauma identification?
Archetypal work and shamanic astrology are powerful tools for healing and transformation, particularly in the context of CPTSD, as discussed by Tanner and Levi. By exploring one's Sacred Blueprint and engaging with archetypal narratives, individuals can break free from trauma cycles and discover new aspects of themselves, aiding in their healing journey. Levi Banner, a certified astrologer, uses music, breathwork, and astrology to guide individuals toward self-empowerment and understanding through the lens of shamanic astrology. This approach, which blends ancient wisdom with modern insights, helps individuals connect with their hero's journey and navigate life's complexities. Practitioners of shamantic astrology emphasize the importance of shifting focus from trauma to one's astrological and sacred influences to establish new identities and paths of healing and self-discovery.
Levi Banner, a spiritual teacher renowned for integrating astrology, breathwork, and music, offers a transformative perspective on astrology as a pathway to self-discovery and healing. Inspired by luminaries like Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung, he uses archetypes to help individuals understand their personal hero's journey, viewing astrology as a map of one's unique myth and life path. Levi believes that by understanding the basic elements and archetypes that shape a person's identity through astrology, individuals can find fulfillment and happiness amidst societal pressures. Through his workshops worldwide, he empowers participants to reconnect with their true selves, encouraging them to embrace their ancient human stories and navigate life's complexities with newfound clarity.

Human design is a method used to aid in healing complex PTSD (CPTSD) by encouraging individuals to reshape their personal narratives, thereby improving their physical health and overall wellness. This approach highlights the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, promoting a holistic healing journey that empowers individuals to uncover their authentic selves beyond trauma and conditioning. Karen Curry Parker's transition from nursing to using human design exemplifies its power in helping individuals reclaim sovereignty over their stories, leading to transformative health outcomes. Additionally, the exploration of ancestral healing within human design reveals how epigenetics and inherited stories impact stress responses, enabling individuals to rewrite both personal and ancestral narratives for profound healing. By emphasizing the importance of understanding one's energy type, body signals, and the impact of negative storytelling on immune response, this approach advocates for a holistic healthcare model that addresses the root causes of physical and mental health issues.

Season 3 of the CPTSD Medicine Podcast is all about the CPTSD Medicine Healing Protocol (dropping October 17th!). I will soon be joined by guest experts to give you some reprieve from only hearing my voice, but for now, we continue our journey through the CPTSD Medicine Healing Protocol by exploring its foundational modality: Internal Family Systems (IFS). After giving a comprehensive definition of IFS, I explain why it’s necessary for CPTSD Recovery and why other medical models remain outdated. You’ll also learn why Energetic Stewardship, Divine Archetypal Resonances, and Elemental Medicine need to be added to IFS for ensured CycleBreaking, how society has tricked us into holding onto certain Trauma Energies, where Lineage Journeys fit in, and some advice for those already in advanced Parts Work practice on how to further enrich their experience. Oh! One last thing: I love you.
Key Points From This Episode:
Defining Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Why IFS is necessary for CPTSD Resolution.
Understanding our various Parts, and how this leads to Parts Work.
Why the standard medical model and technique for treating CPTSD is outdated.
How IFS is great, but it is not sufficient for cycle breaking alone.
The missing links: Energetic Stewardship, Divine Archetypal Resonances, and Elemental Medicine.
How a lot of the trauma we hold onto comes from being gaslighted and brainwashed.
Lineage Journeys: A supernatural and multidimensional exploration of Legacy Burdens.
An invitation to begin doing Parts Work, and tips for those already in advanced practice.
Quotes:
“IFS is necessary for CPTSD Resolution, but not sufficient as taught in mainstream training spaces.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [04:55]
“If I know the root cause of something; I know the problem to something, I can create a solution because I know the problem. When I don’t even know the problem, how am I going to know the solution?” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [17:46]
“CPTSD Medicine teaches Energetic Stewardship so that Self Energy can be purified as well as amplified.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [25:10]
Longer Quotes:
“In many ways, as I understand IFS, we’re storytelling with neural networks. We’re listening to voices, feeling sensations, reviewing memories, feeling behavioral urges; the senses that are hard to put into words, and we’re understanding them as really important sources of data, wisdom—Sacred Wisdom—as to the blueprint of our wounding and the consequences of a traumatizing childhood.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [11:08]

On October 17th, with the Full Moon in Aries, we will begin our largest collective journey through the five Directional Callings of the CPTSD Medicine Healing Protocol. I have designed this healing training program to facilitate CPTSD Resolutions and today’s episode is all about understanding Resolutions better and why it’s something that we all need to strive for. I explain why I’ve adopted “Resolution” instead of “Recovery” or “Healing” as I previously might have described, what life looks like after Resolution with mine as the example, the controversial opinions on Trauma Energies and Parts Work that I still hold on to (and why), and why Resolution is crucial for everyone with CPTSD. If anything I’ve said today resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you, so please reach out. Until then, I love you!
Key Points From This Episode:
Why the CPTSD Medicine Healing Protocol remains my top priority.
The aim of my training program: To facilitate CPTSD Resolutions.
Defining CPTSD Resolution, and why I no longer use other terms like ‘Recovery’.
What life is like for me now after my Resolution; how Resolution manifests in life.
Why I controversially believe that all humans can be taught to unburden Trauma Energies.
More controversy: My view on why Parts Work should not be a lifelong practice
Why Resolution matters and exploring the three milestones of CPTSD Resolution.
Practical takeaways and action steps for you to follow after listening to this episode.
Quotes:
“If we don’t have a guide; if we don’t have a ‘how to’; if we don’t have a plan; or a recipe, we’re all just kind of floating around in space unclear of what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [02:29]
“Now that I’ve found my Power, I can say it so clearly: We are resolving CPTSD. I am the evidence myself as my own transformation, I have clients who are also evidence, and if you don’t want to hear that, we’re not the organization for you.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [07:52]
“CPTSD Medicine – is Internal Family Systems-based through-and-through, but it’s an alternative rendering of Parts Work calibrated to the frequency of cycle-breaking.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [22:17]
“The CPTSD Medicine Healing Protocol is about moving you through everything that’s needed internally and externally to resolve CPTSD. It’s not about coping or managing symptoms, although, getting better at that will expedite the process of Resolution, for sure.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [28:56]
“There is no comparison. Every one of our journeys and timelines are different, but the universal thing is [that] we all need to move through the Unburdening sequence.” — Dr. Tanner Wallace [32:09]

Unburdening Trauma Energies: Lean Into the Lessons Without Shame
Episode S12E12: Show Notes
What would change if you were able to reframe misaligned actions as opportunities to learn? In this episode, I explore the final big idea about CPTSD recovery that I want to share. I also answer a user-submitted question and wrap up Season 12 of the podcast. This one, in particular, is really powerful because it is so connected to all the most important aspects of healing. We are speaking about unburdening Trauma Energies by leaning into the lessons without shame. Through understanding what shame is through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS), we discover how to alchemize and neutralize Trauma Energies in order to release them. I share how this work results in a release of everything that is not true to our identity, explaining the possibility of releasing Shadow Survival Codes that might be masquerading as personality. When we start to release shame around lessons, we are more able to access a deeper intuition. Join me as I unpack the process of embracing lessons and letting go of shame as a path to more personal power and alignment with our self-essence. Thanks for listening!
