In this episode, Iβm joined by Lily Turton. Lily runs a motivational Instagram page, aimed to positively impact and educate followers on health and fitness. Today we discuss what Lilyβs health and fitness journey has looked like since a young age and how she has overcome an eating disorder. I loved this conversation with Lily cause it gives such an incredible insight into the difference between binge eating and overeating. This is a topic that needs to be discussed more openly to provide us with education and understanding to bring awareness around peopleβs struggles with food. We also discuss mindset and how to turn the negative ways of thinking into coming from a positive perspective.

In today's episode Iβm here solo to chat about the things I see advanced gym goers do that may halt their progress. Like so many of us, hitting new PBβs and progressing in your journey can tend to lead to a shifted mindset around what exercises we no longer need. Iβm here to tell you today that there are no exercises that we outgrow in our journey. We will always need foundational movements like squats, deadlifts, etc, in order to only perfect our technique but also build the foundation for other movements. Take a listen as I give you my perspective on this topic and ways to reframe this mindset or belief.Β

Hey guys welcome back, after last weekβs episode where I dive in depth into why I created my new program, train like queens, I wanted to come on today and discuss some of the things that society has conditioned us into thinking is the right βlookβ or number on the scales. Today I chat a bit about perception and how personal and individual training outcomes and goals are different to every single person! Leaner and lighter isnβt always the best.

Hey guys, I'm so happy to bring you this episode as I announce my new and exciting 4 month program, Train Like Queens! This is something Iβve worked so hard on to create to really help guide people through the in-between phase during the cooler. I touch on why I created it, and the things I really noticed my clients needed support with. This program isn't for everyone, so definitely listen in to see if what i talk about fits your lifestyle and fitness journey.Β

The day weβve all been waiting for, Shack is on the podcast, and no it's not Shaquille O'Neal! Shack is my partner of 10 years and people always send in questions, so we thought weβd start the podcast, answer your questions. Shack asks me about my progress with my 5km run goal and things get a little emotional as I take time to reflect. We end on a high note, where we play a little game of which one is nutella. While blindfolded, Shack spoon feeds me 5 different kinds of nutella, the OG and 4 dupes, and I'm put to the test to see if I really am Nutellaβs biggest fan.Β

After I record each episode in the studio, my podcast producer Sophie always has some epic questions about fat loss. So for this episode, Iβve asked Sophie to be my guest of honour and ask all her nitty gritty questions surrounding fat loss. She asks if fat loss and muscle gain are possible at the same time and what the best way is to go about fat loss.Β
