I ain't gone lie. Learning to comfort and nurture myself back to love has been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Mainly, I didn't think I was worth it. So I felt like a fraud who was destined to feel alone and unworthy for the rest of their life. I'm so glad I was wrong. Even though healing and coming back to myself has been a journey. It's one of the single most impactful and important commitments I've EVER made. And it was a commitment I made to MYSELF.
In this week's episode I'm giving you and I some encouragement to commit to tenderness. When we're raised by an emotionally absent mother we learned to be tough and strong. But that strength became our greatest weakness. We unpack it today and walk away with some actionable tools to further our healing journey.
Jennifer Arnise is a Spiritual Coach/Mentor and Intuitive Healer, speaker and author who who helps Black women heal from the painful relationship with their mother so the can love themselves fully and experience more passion, pleasure, joy and fulfillment in their lives. JenniferArnise.com
